Campaign: Wild Beyond the Witchlight

DM: John Rogers — online, pandodnd discord — (Finished)

Burgess lost his smile as a child. Not metaphorically — it was taken, along with the rest of his facial expressions, somewhere in the transition between the mortal world and the Feywild. He spent years lost in that place trying to get it back, and the Feywild, being what it is, changed him in the process. By the time he found his way back to anything resembling a purpose, he was something different than he’d been — a changeling, with a face that could be anything, belonging to no one expression in particular.

He carries a fey quirk from his time lost: he is compelled to knock before entering any door. Any door. Every door. This made his career as a thief complicated.

Class: Rogue (Soulknife) — DEX 20, psychic blades, expert at moving unseen and unheard. Feats include Healer and Sharpshooter; expertise in Perception, Stealth, Thieves’ Tools, and Sleight of Hand.

Notable items recovered during the campaign:

(Race started as Variant Lineage; switched to Changeling when AL rules permitted — no change to the fiction, only the stat block.)
