Ufgunk & The Discordant Harp

Dawn/Sarah not here. Alex returned. Anthony remote.

• Rejoined after combat. Long conversation about what to do with the captives.
• Afterwards, heard a roaring sound as a geyser erupted, bringing a wave of dirty water. Some people were washed off the bridge.
• Heard rustling from a cluster of cattails. Six figures in tattered furs emerged carrying baskets — Hobgoblins. One had a broken but poorly repaired stilt.
• Myster used Mending to repair the stilt. In exchange the hobgoblin gave an egg to Myster. The egg turned out to be an owlbear egg. Sebastian was excited and gave it a name.
• As they progressed, saw a humanoid frog with a fishing line. Heard screaming. He explained they were “screaming devil kin.” His name is Ufgunk.
• Ufgunk offered his line to teach them to fish. Each caught some fish. He offered hospitality to rest up. He is from Downfall, the Soggy Court.
• To get to Downfall you just have to want to get there. His family made balloons using swamp gas. Out that way is Bavlorna.
• The screaming being stopped would please Ufgunk. There is a revolution coming — Baron Illis is destined to rule, says Ufgunk.
• Approached the shoreline and heard screaming getting much louder. In a cove, saw creatures dancing on a raft — dozens of dancing creatures. Cast Faerie Fire, Sleep, and fought. Myster played something on the rocks.
• Found a harp in a hut — the Magic Harp of Discord.
• Karaetius the Watcher — can answer 3 questions. Questions chosen:
  • How to release Sir Talavar?
  • How to release/free Zybilna — who is she?
  • Where is the Star?
  • How can we get more answers?
• No game next week.
