Azrael illusioned the rest of the party to sneak up to the lake.
Made it across to the middle of the lake.
A bowl on the island had coals — magic leaped from the bowl to reveal the horse. Myster leaped to it.
The horse/unicorn greeted the party after a delay, treating them as outsiders.
The unicorn’s name is Lamorna (her mate is Elidon).
She explains the lake is a portal, and that the League would be looking for her husband.
Told the party of a guide that could lead them from Yon to the Palace of Heart’s Desire.
During Zybilna’s reign, no one could enter the palace without her invitation. Lamorna doubts the cover has that same influence now.
Inside the palace lives the Jabberwock — she suggests the party avoid it.
Azrael asked about Will. She has not run into him but says he is a complicated individual. He is wanted for “stealing” the children (i.e., freeing them).
A person in a boat was Zargash, a Priest of Orcus. The party killed him. He is now a specter.
Warduke protects Kelek (who wants to take the stuff of his enemies). Ringlerun and Valoris are also involved.
Scylla is there too — a warlock of Baba Yaga.
The party left toward the Getaway Gang.
Will confronted them when they arrived; another kid hid. Dawn offered cookies.
Saw Red (Will) with them. He says the Getaway Gang is real.
He has a plan to break the kids free from Loomlurch, where someone holds the children hostage.
The children are guarded by tin soldiers, held captive in a workshop, and haunted by boggles — oily creatures from nightmare.
As a show of good faith, the party can rescue some kids taken by a redcap named Big Red.
