Brigganock Mines, Molliver & the Purple Worm’s Eyes
Woke up from Revel. The Korreds had made statues while the party slept. Argantle (Korred queen) revealed there is a secret tunnel into Motherhorn.
The Mantle of the Forest Guardian gained new abilities: speak while in animal form, and polymorph into an owlbear (in addition to the griffin from session 23). This was because the party left the menagerie to be safe with Squeaky Squeaker.
The party was asked to bring statues out in front of the Korred cave.
A cyclops came and angrily demanded [something] back, in Giantish. Myster explained that Pollinella (the bee) was in love with Amidor. The cyclops asked: “What is love?” His name was Mudlump; he asked if Myster could help him find love. Pollinella says he wasn’t a bad keeper.
Approached the Brigganock mines. Placed statues in front of the mines.
Went inside — the sound of pickaxes caused Dawn to fall asleep. Could not wake her up.
Brigganocks explained and talked to Myster. When caught, they revealed: since the party was going after Creeping Lynn (Endelyn), they want to help. They had taken [something] from Lynn.
There was a human in the Brigganock group — named Molliver. The brigganocks think the Korreds are working with Endelyn.
To make peace the party would have to talk to Obud, who lives across the cavern.
Found a 100-foot gap across the cavern — spanned by a truss bridge. Purple lights lined the way.
A brigganock gave Azrael a wishstone — it was the wish from the Witchlight Carnival. [Azrael’s lost wish recovered!]
Brigganocks warned that the cave was guarded by a fearsome beast that sounded like a purple worm.
