Pasha
Experienced wilderness warrior and guide who accompanied the party from the caravan. She survived the avalanche and wolf attack that destroyed most of it, led the party through quicksnow, and sheltered them from razor snow — someone who had come through everything the Dale could throw at her and expected to keep doing it.
She is Elk tribe — one of the Reghedsmen, the nomadic people who follow the elk herds across the Dale. She had dealt with orc tribes before, though not the Coldpeak specifically, and helped guide the party through some of the tribe’s customs. The Elk tribe was already overdue to move; she left the morning after the Standing Stones expedition to rejoin her people.
That was the last the party saw of her. In Session 6 she rode with the Elk tribe to the diplomatic feast at Coldpeak, and afterward went north again with them. Word came south only later: in Session 15, Ulfe of the Reghedsmen reported that something called Rime Talon had come down on the Elk tribe out of a killing cold, and that Pasha was among those it took. No one saw her fall. Her people are certain she is gone; no one can say for certain that she is dead.
Before the Reweave — In the never-was, the thing that hunted the party through those first weeks was Rimetalon, an owlbear that had taken their scent. Pasha was the one who named it as the killer, and she vanished into a blizzard in Session 1 chasing it, only to turn up alive in Session 2. It caught her in the end: at the Session 6 feast between the Coldpeak and Elk tribes, Rimetalon killed her and threw her body into the camp as a message. The Reweave rewrote that thread — memories of the owlbear surface as half-rumor, not error.
