Logos
Introduction
This is Logos, a grey elf from the Valley of the Mage. Yes, that valley. No, he doesn’t work for him.
Other elves don’t quite trust anyone from the valley, so Logos doesn’t pray to Corellon. He’s an acolyte of Boccob the Uncaring, the god of magic, who doesn’t care where you’re from. For Logos, that’s the whole appeal.
He’s a 3rd-level wizard, a Diviner. He’s tall and pale with black hair, and a hundred and eighteen years old, which is young for an elf. To him the universe is a proof, and magic is the part of the math most people haven’t finished reading.
The owl is Phi, named for the golden ratio. Phi does the scouting and Logos does the arithmetic.
His weakness: give him three good options and a time limit, and he’ll ask for a fourth option, which is more time.
“I don’t believe in luck. I believe in probabilities I haven’t calculated yet.”
