Grath
Older, steady, and hunted this corridor before the harrying started. Carries a heavy bow and defers to the party without making a production of it. His family was among those killed in the earlier attacks on Coldpeak.
He went prone on bad footing during the chase with the Rime Hulk in Session 17, and Berg turned back, picked him up, and Action Surged to carry him clear. After Rime Talon took Tarn, he said nothing, but he didn’t turn around. At the Elk fire in Session 18 he went quiet and stayed quiet.
On the road back to Coldpeak in Session 21, Alina found him packing at the back of the column. Tarn was waiting for someone to come back for him, and Grath wasn’t going to face that and say they hadn’t even looked. He wasn’t going to fight the beast, only find out. Berg gave him his Potion of Heroism. Grath shook his hand and said, “He was right about you,” without saying who. Then he went north alone.
