Two Coldpeak sentries, killed in one of the attacks on the camp. Their spears were planted in the ground at the east perimeter before sunrise, pointed outward toward what killed them. No ceremony. No speech. That is how it is done.
The attacks that killed them haven’t stopped. Elementals come out of the northwest, and their cores carry the Arcane Brotherhood’s compass rose (see Coldpeak Camp).
Before the Reweave — In the unwoven, Rimetalon killed them the night after the party arrived at camp and arranged their bodies in a rune of goat entrails around a single white feather. The rune said Soon. Kaarsk told Berg that the spirits of the fallen wouldn’t rest until their killer was confronted. Not defeated, confronted: the attempt is what matters. The Reweave rewrote this. Memories of it surface as half-rumor, not error.
